Static or dynamic QR code: which should you choose?
The main difference is whether the destination is encoded directly in the image or can be changed through a controlled redirect.
When to use a static QR
Use a static QR for permanent content, such as text, Wi-Fi, or an address you do not plan to change. It works without an account or redirect service.
When to use a dynamic QR
Use a dynamic QR when the destination may change or you need scan metrics. It requires an account, is subject to plan limits, and depends on service availability.
Test either option before printing
Validate contrast, quiet zone, final size, and scanning on more than one device. A good-looking QR can still fail in practice.
